Chef Fox at The Ridgehouse

This summer and fall, experience Hudson Valley cuisine with Chef Fox Schanzer at The Ridgehouse at Terra Ridge Farm—a casual, family-friendly dining series set against the breathtaking backdrop of a working regenerative farm.

These dinners embrace the spontaneity of the seasons, featuring a constantly evolving menu that reflects the freshest ingredients available each day.

Expect an elevated yet unfussy dining experience, where dishes are built around the farm’s silvopastured pork and chicken, alongside vegetables grown on-site and exceptional ingredients from neighboring small farms. Each plate is a holistic expression of place, balancing nutrition, sustainability, and deep, inventive flavors that define Chef Fox’s signature style.

With outdoor dining in the fields, crisp valley air, and a table filled with thoughtfully sourced, hyper-seasonal food, this is an opportunity to slow down, savor, and reconnect with where your food comes from.

Our Mission

is to provide wholesome, nutritious food from the earth and raise healthy livestock while fostering a strong connection between our community and land.

By cultivating a deep respect for nature and promoting transparency in our farming methods, we aim to empower consumers to make informed choices about their food. Our goal is to inspire a healthier, more sustainable future for our community and children through the provision of quality, natural food straight from our fields and community to your table.

We strive to inspire young minds to appreciate the wonders of farming and the natural world and invite families to bring their children to enjoy our nourishing food and beautiful land.

The food items we provide from our kitchen and farm store are sourced directly from our farm or from local farmers / vendors throughout the Hudson Valley. We invite pop-up food vendors with similar ethos to host on our farm.
